Dare to Care Book Launch
October 14, 2021 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Please join TalenTrust for an exciting and informative evening that arose out of this uniquely challenging time for us all, both as individuals and as leaders. There are two parts to this event:
ONE: I will announce the official launch of my second book, Dare to Care in the Workplace: A Guide to the New Way We Work.
The way we work has forever changed. On this new journey, we don’t always know where we’re going or what we will find, and it’s certain we’ll get lost from time to time. I wrote Dare to Care to help you find direction and a stable path to successful leadership in an uncertain future.
TWO: I’m pleased to welcome Mark Heydt and Lori Frasier, experts in talent management, to join me in a lively discussion on why people-centric, relationship-based workplaces are driving results and profits.
Mark Heydt, Chief Learning Officer/Founder of Game Plan Leader, LLC. A senior-level talent executive in major corporations like Target, Red Robin, DCP Midstream, and Sports Authority, Mark recently published his first book, Rescuing the Corporate Exhausted Hero. His passion is helping to eliminate exhaustion from corporate America by elevating the ability of leaders to create vision, influence change, coach, and delegate.
Lori Frasier, Founder and Former Chair, ELFA Women’s Council; former CHRO, CPI Card Group; and Board Member for Rocky Mountain Human Resources, People and Strategy. Lori is an HR strategist whose background includes developing and implementing enterprise people and workplace safety strategy for a national manufacturing workforce and crisis preparedness and response. She is experienced in leading every aspect of talent development and management and has served as an expert on numerous boards.
Kathleen Quinn Votaw, Founder and CEO, TalenTrust. With the goal of disrupting the stagnant staffing industry she loves, in 2003 Kathleen founded TalenTrust, a strategic recruiting and human capital consulting firm, and began applying her “Put People First” philosophy in her own company. TalenTrust has won numerous prestigious awards since, as has Kathleen herself. Kathleen is a frequent speaker and published blogger, and the author of two books: Solve the People Puzzle: How High-Growth Companies Attract & retain Top Talent and just released Dare to Care in the Workplace: A Guide to the New Way We Work.
